Rewards
Everyone likes to be rewarded. Even if that reward is just a pat on the back. When you have a large task in front of you and have broken it down into doable pieces. After each part is done reward yourself.
But remember the reward is not for planning, or thinking about, or dreaming about. It is for doing.
Rewards for each step should be small rewards, save the big one for completing the entire task. Don’t break your task into so millions of small steps so you can get rewarded more often. Try and keep it reasonable.

- Pet the Pooch
If your an animal person take some time to play with your pet. They will appreciate it and you will feel better too.
If your food motivated eat one small piece of fruit or chocolate.
If you like the outdoors, go set on the stoop or porch, take a short walk, stare at the moon.
Little rewards for doing something will motivate you to do more. My main point is doing a task first then reward yourself. Not the other way around. A tip I do is pick the task you least like and do it first. It is not an easy habit to get into, but if you do you will feel much lighter.
